In terms of costs we charge an hourly rate for Giselle Williams Head of Department £325.00 per hour plus VAT, assistants £275.00 per hour plus VAT and for paralegals £150.00 per hour plus VAT. Each claim is different and fees are charged at the hourly rate.
In Landlord and Tenant actions for re-possession of a residential property, following the Renters Rights Act 2025, there is only one avenue for proceedings to follow. This is by serving a Section 8 Notice and proceedings for possession being brought, where there will be a Hearing. The fees are £2,000.00 plus VAT plus the Court fee of £404.00. We take 50% of the fee and the Court fee on account at the outset of the matter and the remaining 50% upon completion.
Please be advised enforcement proceedings incur separate fees, the possession fee is only until a possession order is made. The fee for enforcement is £250.00 plus VAT plus the Court fee for the method of enforcement. There are a range of court fees depending on the method of enforcement desired:
- High Court Enforcement: £80.00
- Warrant of Possession: £148.00
- Warrant of Control: £94.00
- Attachment of Earnings: £135.00
- Charging Order: £135.00
- Third Party Debt Order: £135.00
