Letter/Correspondence Scam
We have reported the situation to the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Information Commissioners Office.
If you have received any correspondence purporting to be from us and it appears to be unsolicited we urge anyone who is in receipt of such correspondence to check with the named contact at our firm or to contact our office number that is shown on our website.
AST Hampsons LLP do not send unsolicited mail. Unless you have instructed our firm to act for you, please do not complete any document which appears to have come from us with any personal information without checking with us first.
We strongly suggest caution is used when dealing with correspondence received and to report any concerns you have to the Information Commissioners Office.
Road Traffic Accidents and Personal Injury Scam
We have received reports of fraudsters impersonating our firm, using a similar name, incorporating ‘AST’ and contacting people to attempt to gain instructions to deal with claims for Road Traffic Accidents and Personal Injury.
The calls are from a range of different numbers and area codes.
