It is important your legal title is correct, we can help with your claim for adverse possession

Adverse Possession

If you have used land which is fully enclosed within the physical boundaries of your property without the permission of the legal owner for a period of more than ten years you may be able to register the land legally in your own name.  This is known as adverse possession or squatters rights.

If this situation does apply to you it is important that you do sort the legalities out, particularly prior to you selling your property as it may cause delays.

AST Hampsons Property Law team can discuss your options with you to establish whether you do have a right to claim the land and, if you can, we can make the application on your behalf with the Land Registry.

Your dedicated, experienced Property Lawyer will contact you on a weekly basis to keep you up to date with progress. They will also advise you on what happens next in plain language, not legal jargon.

Why not give AST Hampsons Property Law team a call on 01706 653322 (for our Rochdale branch) or 0161 763 1000 (for our Bury branch). You can also email us at [email protected].
